Major ‘Dying Light 2’ update improves the game’s ending sequences

Dying Light 2 has received a huge update from Techland that enhances the game’s finale scenes.

The 1.2.0 patch addresses the PlayStation and Xbox versions of the game, after a PC update earlier this week.

The complete patch notes can be seen here. The update resolves several co-op issues such as crashes, black screens, and difficulty accepting invitations. As well as the ability to apply paraglider and grappling hook upgrades appropriately.

Combat, including adversary behaviour and weapon performance, has also been improved. The final boss battle has also been altered. anll known instances of “Deathloops” have been removed.

Into the Dark, Assassination, Sophie in The Raid Quest, Hubert in The Only Way Out, Veronika, Nightrunners, The Lost Light, and Double Time are among the missions where Techland has fixed blocks.

Ragdoll physics are also changed in 1.2.0. So they should work more organically throughout the game.

In addition, ‘Dying Light 2’ update improves game’s ending. “To better connect gameplay and outro scenes, more end-of-game scenes have been added.”

The patch also contains Xbox-specific features such as a new Balanced Mode. That plays at 60 frames per second on Xbox Series X. As well as a few Xbox Series S game modes, including Performance Mode, which runs at 60 frames per second.

Dying Light 2 will have “five years of game support post-launch,” according to Techland. Which includes new events, locations, and in-game objects, as well as storey DLC and updates.

In other news, Xbox Game Studios has stated that Halo Infinite will not be playable on Steam Deck owing to anti-cheat software, alongside Halo: The Master Chief Collection, Gears 5, and Microsoft Flight Simulator X.
