WHAT IS SHARE PLAY?
SharePlay is a new FaceTime function backed in iPhone, iPad, and Mac. It allows you to share your device screen with others during a FaceTime call. It enables everyone to watch pictures and hear songs together.

Everyone has separate control on their screen to pause or skip on their preference. On the face, it nearly resembles Spotify Group Sessions, but the beauty of SharePlay is it works with all Apple media apps and other third-party services out there.
Apple has released Group Conditioning APIs that enable inventors to add SharePlay support to their apps. Some big media names similar as Disney, Hulu, HBO Max, Twitch, TikTok, etc., have formerly blazoned to singe the SharePlay function to their apps.

ENABLE SHARE PLAY ON IPHONE

There’s a SharePlay toggle in the iPhone Settings app that you need to enable to use the function. Here’s how to use it.

  1. Open the Settings app on iPhone.
  2. Move down to the FaceTime menu.
  3. Open FaceTime and valve on SharePlay.
  4. Enable SharePlay toggle from the following menu and now you’re ready to share music and watch Television shows together over a FaceTime call.

Now you can use share play to listen to music and watch videos together on facetime and much more.
